Reason for hire
The hire is due to the expansion of the team. They’d like to invite candidates from agencies because this particular team of about 10 (to be expanded into about 15) within this brand operates very similarly as an in-house agency (providing creative ideas & content, art work & design, etc.) to other departments (digital marketing, branding, partnership marketing, etc.)
You will report the Head of Marketing Services of the team
Liaise with counterparts of other departments to help them define and develop strategies
You will qualify and officially accept briefs from the departments and then debrief internal teams. Along with the Trafficker, assign/distribute work load to relevant parties, (content, design, etc.)
Work with your teams to develop concepts, workable strategies and action plans, content, etc.
Execute, project manage the campaigns and deliver to counterparts (internal clients)
Ensure quality is optimized, and analyse projects effectiveness
Projects are mainly related to the brand’s website, secondary sites and landing pages
Degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or a related subject
At least 7 years experience in marketing services agencies, ie creative, advertising, branding, etc.
Must be able to perform as an individual contributor with minimal supervision
Be able to judge and be able to consult/advise internal clients, or to reject briefs when necessary. A “yes-man” will suffer in this role.
Good spoke and written skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (traditional & simplified)
Superby client-servicing, account servicing skills, as well as solid project management experience
Experienced in web-based communication projects (digital and website content management) a must
Previous experience in travel/hospitality sectors a plus, but not a must
